Lighting a Candle for the Unsung Heroes: A tribute to all those who continue to hold the light in the struggle for justice, restitution and renewed relationship

With thanks to Christine Sine for her Godspace reflections: http://godspace-msa.com/2014/12/23/light-a-candle-for-the-unsung-heroes/

Christmas, the season that provides us with some space for reflection and rest, is upon all of us. It is a time for lighting a candle to acknowledge with gratitude all those who continue to hold a candle in the darkness of our world where many matters of grave injustice and neglect remain unaddressed and unresolved.
We know that we are one with all who keep faith alive that justice will be the outcome of struggles for just causes. As we gather as a community of people who struggle for justice, we commit to continuing to shine the light in the darkness of this present time, secure in the knowledge that we are not alone in this struggle and that justice will prevail.
