Khulumani Supports the Campaign to Allow the Dalai Lama into South Africa for Archbishop Tutu’s 80th Birthday Celebrations –

Khulumani supports the civil society campaign that is being led by interfaith leaders to challenge the unconstitutional conduct of the South African government in effectively preventing his Holiness the Dalai Lama from attending the 80th birthday celebrations of the Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu that commence on October 6, 2011. This non-partisan interfaith campaign is mobilising under the banner of “LET HIM IN NOW – no pass laws for the Dalai Lama”. There will be peaceful protests including a vigil outside Parliament on Monday, October 3 between 18:00 and 20:00.

Please sign the petition organised by the Ndifuna Ukwazi (Dare to Know) campaign.  It can be found on http://www.PetitionOnline.com/enterSA/petition.html

The President can also be tweeted on with the following message: “President Zuma, let him in NOW, no pass laws for the Dalai Lama”.
